Partners Gilbert Torres, a financial professional and former senior banker, and Richard Hone, a veteran sports and entertainment agent, film financier, former foreign and domestic TV Agent, and an expert in transactional deal structure, implementation, and operations will oversee the financing/budgetary requirements side, while Katya Orphali and Cristina Chereneta will oversee all the creative elements on new submissions.

Managing Partner
Richard has over 35 years of experience as an Executive in the Entertainment and Sports Industries. His expertise in contract negotiations in Film, TV, Music Mgmt. and Artist Mgmt. agreements, major Music Publishing Catalogs, Boxing, NFL marketing contracts, Facilities deals and the sale of professional Sports Teams and other entertainment related business, as well as a thorough understanding of complex contractual matters relating to financing with Investment Banks, PE and VC funds, Family Offices, and other Private Equity investors, as well as intellectual property matters makes him the ideal member of the team to liaison between the Filmmakers and our parent company Investors..

Katya has worked many years within the entertainment industry, shadowing the best in the business from the beginning. With a deep knowledge of content strategy, she has helped acquire multiple TV AND STREAMING deals for our slate to the “ready” status for green-light financing and pitching. She earned her bachelors in business economics from the University of California, Irvine and achieved an MBA with University of California, Davis with a concentration i`1n Business Strategy and Product Placement. She has also obtained the Python for Managers certification from Columbia Business School. Katya is heavily involved in film package analysis, with a curated approach towards script reviewing, industry research, and intelligent budgeting by utilizing data analytics and strong communication with her team and clients.. Her strong sense of both creative and business direction is an essential part to bringing amazing storytelling to life; finding a home for premier content within the finance industry.
CFO
Gil is the CFO of G2E and its parent company. He will implement the financial controls needed to monitor production costs and investor relations. Gil has worked with Richard Hone to structure the company and establish its mission. He is a seasoned professional with more than 30 years of experience in Commercial and Asset Based lending. He has held senior level positions with several money center banks and institutions such as Citi Bank, Merrill Lynch and Santander Bank, and has worked with companies in securing a variety of finance solutions to grow their business or exit challenging lender relationships.
Film Finance and Entertainment Consultant
Cristina was born and raised in Brazil and has been living in the United State since 1994 and has over 20 years experience in Film, Television, Music, Sports, Entertainment Marketing, Branding Strategies and Film finance consulting for the Globo, LATAM, and Brazilian market.
Her creative qualities and skills in branding, product placement, product integration, branded content, and sponsorship has been featured in Movies, TV Series, and Music Videos.
Utilizing her high profile relationships in the Entertainment Industry worldwide, she had worked for and/or provided consulting services for film and TV projects produced by CBS, 20th Century Fox, Paramount, Universal Pictures, as well as Warner Music Group (WMG) for Music Videos and Soundtracks.
With a diverse background and multiple passions, including arts, sports, nature, animals, she is an advocate for the preservation and protection of the Atlantic and the Amazon Rainforest, dogs, and wildlife animals in danger.
Cristina carefully helps to review, curate and select key projects for G2E funding sources.
MICHAEL PEARL
In Memory
Michael Pearl was a Founding Partner of Group One Sports and Entertainment, the predecessor company of G2E.
He was integral in Group One's success and is sadly missed and always remembered fondly for his guidance and dedication.
He was one of the greatest Sports Producers in the History of television, and his legacy lives on.
Michael Pearl, has won 16 EMMYs and is one of the most accomplished and creative producers in sports television. He has over 30 years’ experience and joined ABC Sports as senior vice president and executive producer on July 14,2003. Michael was responsible for the overall production and on-air presentation of ABC Sports programs. Among them Super Bowl XL, “ABC’s Monday Night Football”, the BCS, the 2006 World Cup, the British Open, the Indianapolis 500 and the World Figure Skating Championships. During that time he revamped ABC’s golf coverage including putting together that much heralded anchor booth of Mike Tirico, Nick Faldo and Paul Azinger. He also names Al Michaels and Doc Rivers as the number one play-by-play team along with sideline reporter Michele Tafoya for ABC’s coverage of NBA.
Upon the merger of ABC Sports and ESPN, Pearl has retained his title and is now working on special projects for ESPN and The Walt Disney Company. He most recently was involved in the corporate bid presentation for the 2014/2016 Olympics.
Prior to coming back to ABC, he was senior vice president and executive producer at Turner Sports, where he oversaw the production of NBA, NFL, Atlanta Braves baseball, NASCAR, figure skating, golf, Wimbledon and college football. He also served as Executive Producer of Turner’s cable coverage of the 1998 Winter Olympics in Nagano, Japan. While at Turner, Pearl was also responsible for creating the Emmy award winning NBA support program “Inside the NBA”.
From 1975-80 Mr. Pearl worked at CBS Sports as a producer on the network’s broadcasts of Super Bowl X, XII, and XIV. He also created and produced the network’s Emmy winning NFL pre-game show, “The NFL Today.” In 1979, he produced the first live wire to wire coverage of the Daytona 500. Pearl was also in charge of the anthology series, CBS Sports Spectacular.
From 1980-88 Michael worked at ABC Sports as a producer on the network’s broadcasts of Super Bowl XIX and XXII, the 1984 Winter Olympics in Sarajevo, the 1984 Summer Olympics in Los Angeles, the 1988 Winter Olympics in Calgary, “ABC’s Monday Night Football,” the Indianapolis 500, the New York City Marathon, “ABC’s Wide World Of Sports” and many other programs.
In 1988, Pearl returned to CBS as Coordinating Producer of the 1992 Winter Olympics in Albertville and 1994 Winter Olympics in Lillehammer. A 16-time Emmy Award Winner, Pearl was awarded a 2001 Emmy as the executive producer of TNT and TBS Superstation’s post game NBA show, Inside the NBA. He won three Emmys for CBS’ coverage of the 1994 Winter Olympics. He earned two Emmys for “The NFL Today,” three for his work on ABC’s “Wide World of Sports,” and individual awards for the “Wide World of Sports Anniversary Special,” the 1982 Indianapolis 500, “ABC’s Monday Night Football” in 1987 and 2004, the 1984 Summer Olympics and the 1992 Winter Olympics. He has also earned the Eclipse Award, horse racing’s highest honor, for producing ABC’s Triple Crown coverage of the Kentucky Derby, Preakness Stakes and Belmond Stakes in 1987.
At one point in time, Pearl had produced six of the top 50 all-time highest rating programs in the history of television, including figure skating (first round and finals) during the XVII Winter Olympics and four Super Bowls (XII, XIX, XIV, and X).
